APIAVote actively works to increase media coverage of Asian Pacific
Islander American policy and political coverage by:
Developing communications framework and messages;
Partnering with local and national media for election & civic engagement coverage;
Strengthening online presence; e-newsletter, online outreach, website interaction;
Serving as a resource to mainstream media;
Utilizing new media tools to mobilize our community;
Working with our local partners and coalitions in developing messages relevant to their outreach and voter contact plans.
Through these and other means, APIAVote works to ensure that local and national media are given ample opportunities and reasons to cover issues and activities important to APIAs across the country.
