The 2016 Conventions are in full swing!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Republican National Convention this past Monday! Over a hundred community members and Convention attendees joined together to celebrate AAPI leadership in Cleveland, Ohio.

Our "AAPI2016" briefing covered key research and data about the AAPI community from our latest survey. It also included a discussion from Greg Cendana from the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), about AAPIs in the workforce, unionization, crimminal justice, and National Council of Asian Pacific American (NCAPA) policy priorities, as well as Sayu Bhojwani from the New American Leaders Project, who discussed building a pipeline of future elected officials.

"Our reception and briefing at the Republican National Convention demonstrates that the AAPI electorate is fully engaged and participating in this cycle," said Christine Chen, APIAVote Executive Director. "Our presence at the RNC and at the DNC next week is to ensure that the parties and campaigns recognize this."

Special thanks to all our sponsors, including AT&T, for making this event possible.
