Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) and the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) have confirmed the following speakers for the 2016 Presidential Election Forum. This will be held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 12, 2016.
President Bill Clinton will speak on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Secretary Hillary Clinton. The Trump campaign has been invited to represent Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, and we are awaiting confirmation. Libertarian presidential nominee Governor Gary Johnson will also attend.
In addition, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) led by Rep. Judy Chu, Rep. Mike Honda, and other members of Congress will attend and speak to the community about the importance of this year’s election, civic engagement, and the community’s vote.
The deadline to register for the 2016 Forum is Tuesday, August 9th, 2016.

Deadline to Register: Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 12 p.m. PST
Doors will open at 1:00 PM PST. Press credentials will NOT provide access to candidates, candidate arrivals, or allow for any filming or photography at the event or on Caesars property. Each person attending from a media outlet must fill out a separate credential form. Credentials are subject to discretion by AAJA and APIAVote.
Applying for credential is not a confirmation of receiving them. Those credentialed will be notified via email with further details. Each credentialed person must check in at the entrance. More details on the check-in and location of the media file room will be announced on Wednesday, August 10.
