PRESS CALL:
New poll shows that most Asian Americans plan to vote in 2014 Midterms and don’t affiliate with a political party

Release of polling data on 1,300 registered Asian American Voters

WASHINGTON, DC – National and state-based leaders in the Asian American civil rights community will release new polling data on Asian American voter attitudes during a press call on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. Please register.

Speakers will discuss the results of the APIAVote & Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC 2014 Voter Survey, which polled more than 1,300 Asian American registered voters. Speakers will also discuss registration drives and get-out-the-vote organizing efforts of Asian American community groups on the ground in key states.

In more than 60 House races across the country – in congressional districts in Georgia, New York, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, California and Hawaii – Asian Americans make up eight percent or more of the citizen voting-age population, large enough to close the gap in some of these races.
